Recreational

Program Details

The Recreational program is the foundation of Smithville Soccer Club. This program is also our oldest and largest program and has historically produced players with a passion for the game wanting to progress in their soccer skills and development. This program plays two seasons, Fall and Spring, in a soccer year. Our soccer year follows the MYSA guideline of August 1 through July 31.

Cost:  $105 per season (Fall and Spring)
Description:  This program continues to emphasize fundamental technical skills and provides a quality, organized recreational soccer league wherein players and teams can benchmark their skills.  League play will be through Northland Sports Alliance and begin on September 6 and run through early November at Tiffany Springs Park.  Practices will generally be local in Smithville during the week.  Teams participating in the NSA programs (U7 and above) are parent coached, typically, however trainer support is available for an additional fee should the team choose that option. Generally we hope to field teams in all age groups that are gender specific. In the case that we are unable to do that locally, we will work with you to find the best solution for your child to continue playing soccer through Smithville Soccer Club. Your registration fee covers the league, a uniform, and 8 games with referees.
